irst Grade English Language Report

1-      They understand the teacher’s instructions.

2-      They can follow simple stories with understanding.

3-      They can identify information from the listening.

4-      They can repeat simple phrases after a model.

5-      They can produce simple phrases or questions.

6-      They can answer to the teacher’s questions.

7-      They can ask simple questions.

Reading and Writing abilities of learners are not the same. Some of them can read three-letter words easily so if it is needed we review them together ,as well we start four-letter words, there are some learners who can not read at all so I just introduce them letters and mixture of sounds, some them have no difficulties on sound mixture but they can recognize letters ,in this case I have to start with letters introduce them letters and word on three or four letter words. Beside there are some students those started five-letter words and sentences.

About the book taught in the class

The book covered until unit 4 and from the middle of November unit 5 started .

1- Unit one: They can ask simple question with “what” and answer to that . School objects covered.

2-  Unit two: They can talk about the things that they have . Some of toys are introduced.

3- Unit Three: They can use “There is … There are …”. Some body organ introduced
